ETH dongle online upgrade

Connect the device to this computer with a USB cable to upgrade the ESP32 host firmware. Use Chrome or Edge. Ethernet-only is not enough. Step-by-step guide: Flash ETH dongle firmware.

When the ETH-52P / ETH-52P7 web UI still opens, upgrade on the gateway under Tools → Firmware. See ETH-52P / ETH-52P7 web local upgrade ESP32 / Zigbee. This USB tool writes the ESP32 host only, not the CC2652.

Supported models:

• Silabs: ETH-MG21, ETH-MG24, ETH-MG21 POE, ETH-MG24 POE

Do not flash other models on this page. If the serial port does not appear, install the USB driver first, then reconnect.

Before flashing, close anything using the serial port: ZHA / Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant, serial monitors, and other browser tabs already on this page. The tool tries to detect the model automatically; if it cannot, select the matching model yourself and then flash.
