Inswift Silabs Flasher

Connect the ZBM dongle to a Windows PC with a USB cable, then download the flasher and matching .gbl firmware from this page. This is not a browser flasher. Use Windows 10 or Windows 11. The app UI is English.

Supported models:

• ZBM-MG21
• ZBM-MG24

Do not flash other models with the files on this page. Do not mix MG21 and MG24 images, and pick the matching protocol: Zigbee NCP, Zigbee Router, OpenThread RCP, or Multi-PAN. If the serial port does not appear, install the CP210x USB driver first, then reconnect.

Before flashing, close anything using the serial port: ZHA / Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant, and serial monitors.

Steps:

1. Download and open InswiftSilabsFlasher.exe
2. Download the .gbl file that matches the model and protocol
3. Click Browse... to select the firmware, then choose the serial port
4. Click Start flashing and wait until it finishes
5. Unplug and replug the device before returning it to Home Assistant

The LED may blink blue while flashing.
